After a successful year in 2021, Eurofins | Chem-MAP has extended its partnership with The Vegan Society, offering companies working in the apparel and footwear industries a registered verification programme with The Vegan Society’s Vegan Trademark.
The Vegan Society registered verification programme offers one of the most robust processes in the industry through a testing-lead programme which analyses the presence of animal DNA in product components. Vegan Verification also employs microscopy to identify animal fibres and FTIR analysis to detect the presence of animal proteins. The methodology offers companies assurance that product claims can be validated by an independent 3rd party giving confidence and assurance to the consumer.
