The Chem-MAP® Team at Eurofins | BLC is delighted to announce the AQM acquisition of the factory auditing and inspection company AQM by Eurofins Consumer Product Testing. Brands, such as Chem-MAP®, and businesses within the Eurofins Group will be able to utilise the skills and international network of AQM to strengthen the overall product offering. This supports Eurofins continued growth plans and expansion into new fields and adjacent markets.
AQM currently provides a range of factory and social audits, inspections and physical tests for the textile, fashion and apparel sectors in key manufacturing hubs across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Adam Hughes, Eurofins | BLC Managing Director welcomed the acquisition, stating that
“Eurofins | BLC welcomes AQM to the group and we are keen to strengthen our partnership in order to expand upon a range of auditing and training services that transcend both the leather and textile sectors.”
Stéphane Barrau, VP Eurofins Consumer Product Testing, commented:
“Eurofins strengthens its position as a leading company in the Textile and Leather sector, now offering the widest service portfolios covering the Global Supply Chain of retailers, brand owners and manufacturers.”
Benoit Aubet, AQM Managing Director, commented:
“The combination of Eurofins CPT and AQM will enable both organisations to expand their service offerings within the Textile & Leather industries, where both companies stand out for their respective expertise. AQM, historically focused on helping customers to deploy responsible sourcing while assuring product quality, will now with the additional support of Eurofins CPT, continue to provide high-level inspection and audit services with a wider scope and a more extended geographic coverage.”
AQM will now be known as Eurofins | AQM.
