Peter Gregory is an experienced Lead Auditor and Consultant specialising in the field of sustainable chemical management. Born and educated in the UK, with an MSc in Polymer Science and a wide knowledge of chemistry and formulations, Peter has greater than 45 years’ experience working for chemical manufacturers globally.
Chemical Management Experience
Peter is the founder of Vert-Tex, who partnered with Eurofins | BLC to develop Chem-MAP® and takes the role as Lead Auditor for the Chem-MAP programme. Along with the team, Peter will audit chemical manufacturing facilities on their stewardship practices and chemical management processes. Thereby enabling chemical formulators to achieve ZDHC compliance and demonstrate ZDHC conformity through Chem-MAP®.
Peter’s Role in the Chem-MAP® Team
As a Chem-MAP® auditor Peter’s passion for sustainability centres on the reduction of chemical impact, and more importantly, to drastically reduce water and energy consumption within the textile, leather and synthetic industries globally. With a wealth of knowledge on global supply chains and sustainability management programmes, Peter is a knowledgeable asset to the Chem-MAP® team.
